The book

Maybe, I don’t write a book about my past — entirely — maybe, instead, I write about now.

And, when I get those little flashbacks — the ones that come with triggers. I write about them – right at that moment.

I forget, with the number of books I’ve read, I forget everyone has their own timeline of telling things.

No author — or story teller — has to tell the story in a linear matter for it to make sense.

Kurt Vonnegut told his stories just like — if, you’re getting to know someone and they tell you bits and pieces of their story (not in order) & only until the end — can you put it together and discover who they are .

That makes a book a person. It makes a book come alive.
